Our curation: why we choose Cocohagen
The story behind it is almost too good to be true. Cocohagen started in 2014 when Asbjørn, back then a police officer in Copenhagen, began rolling date balls in his spare time. When his kitchen got too small, he ended up with Jesper, a chef who had been, among other things, head chef at Hotel d'Angleterre and cooked for the Danish royal family. An unlikely friendship, and a brand, were born.
Today, it's still all about that same idea: respect for the ingredients, and changing as little as possible. That's exactly the kind of maker we go looking for. A bar that wins you over on taste first, and only then shows you how short the ingredient list is.
