We're handing the mic to intern Naziha to share her internship experience at JustBite:
So, my internship is almost over! Although it only lasted 4 weeks, I've learned a huge amount about how digital marketing and communications work in a real company. I got to put theory into practice, and I'm really grateful to JustBite for that. I learned how to set up a campaign, brainstormed social media posts, carried out qualitative research, got to work on a website page, and even helped out on JustBite's very first podcast, plus so much more! A wonderfully varied internship, in other words.
I've always been a fairly social person, but this internship really pushed me to take the step of working with people I didn't know. Thanks to the wide range of tasks, I learned to make the best of everything, even when I had little or no experience with it. Because I was given so many different tasks, I was able to figure out for myself what I enjoy doing most. It's definitely nudged my sense of direction in the right way.
The internship clearly exceeded my expectations. The weeks flew by, and I had a genuinely great time. It's a shame it couldn't happen in real life at the office, that I couldn't work with the others in person. But hey, who knows, maybe in the future 😋
The guidance during the internship was, in one word, brilliant! Even though it meant working remotely because of the whole corona situation, Kevin gave me fantastic support every single day. We had daily calls, and he genuinely listened to the ideas we, as interns, brought to the table. It really was teamwork with a super fun team!
