My Internship at JustBite - Report by Nathan Dhoop

Table of contents

During my internship at JustBite, I got the chance to work in a really varied environment. I'm studying International Business, and it was exactly that variety that made this internship so interesting for me. No two days looked the same, which meant I got to learn an incredible amount.

    A warm welcome in a close-knit team

From day one, I was welcomed really warmly by the team. The big advantage of a startup? You really get to know both the company and the people behind it. The atmosphere was close-knit and pleasant. I also did my internship alongside Lukas, which meant we regularly got to collaborate on different tasks and projects.

    A wide range of tasks

My tasks were really varied. I mainly worked on content creation, but also helped with newsletters, translations, research, the new website and automations. I even got the chance to help set up the new phone network. One of the most surprising experiences was helping with the warehouse expansion, which really shows just how broad my internship was.

    Tools and technical growth

During my internship, I worked with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Teamleader, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and various AI integrations. This meant I not only learned a lot technically, but also gained insight into how a startup functions day to day and how many different aspects come into play.

Working independently with the right support

What I appreciated most was the balance between working independently and getting support. I was given a lot of trust to take things on myself, but I also knew I could always turn to someone with questions. That made it an ideal environment to grow and gain experience.

To future interns: if you enjoy plenty of variety and want to learn how a startup really works, JustBite is definitely worth recommending. Finally, I'd like to thank the whole team for the warm welcome and guidance. This internship was a valuable learning experience that I won't forget anytime soon.
