My internship at JustBite - report by Lukas Schotte

Table of contents

Thirteen weeks ago, I walked into JustBite for the first time. I knew it was a young, growing company, but what I hadn't expected: how quickly I'd truly become part of the team.

    An internship full of variety

My internship was anything but monotonous. I helped build the new website, made the webshop more appealing, developed automations and AI agents to make internal processes smarter. I also sourced new products that I launched into the range myself. On top of that, I set up outbound email campaigns and helped with expansion at companies with multiple offices. Every now and then there were smaller tasks too, like bits of research or translating newsletters, which kept things varied.

The big advantage of such a varied internship? You learn incredibly fast. Instead of repeating one task, I was constantly challenged to think broadly and find solutions with real impact.

    Internship at JustBite

    Digital and physical

I didn't do all this alone. Together with fellow intern Nathan, I formed a tight-knit team. Besides our digital projects, we also tackled an operational challenge: expanding the warehouse shelving to increase storage capacity. Both digitally and physically, we left our mark on the company.

A team where you feel at home right away

What really made my internship at JustBite special was the atmosphere. From day one, I felt welcome. A special thank you to Kevin for the great guidance, the constant feedback and the space to grow independently. That kind of support makes a huge difference as an intern. You dare more, try more, and as a result, you learn more too.

Would I recommend an internship here? Absolutely. If you're looking for a place where you're truly brought into the story of a growing company — not just watching from the sidelines — then JustBite is the right place for you.
