Fruitsnacks and JustBite, suppliers of healthy snacks to companies, are breaking through their competition and entering into a structural partnership. Through this partnership, they can offer a wide range of healthy snacks to companies. The young entrepreneurs Roel Paesmans (Fruitsnacks) and Aitor Somers & Kevin Ringoot (JustBite) are thus contributing to healthier workplaces.
A wide healthy offering for employees
Fruitsnacks has been a supplier of fruit at work since 2006 and was the first in the Benelux to introduce this concept. JustBite has been providing a healthier alternative to unhealthy snacks at work since 2018. A complementary offering with the same goal: creating a healthy workplace with healthy employees.
“Companies want to do more and more to keep their employees healthy and happy. In the war on talent, they want to make a clear difference. We increasingly hear that companies want to expand their healthy offerings as much as possible: with fruit at work and healthy snacks. If our partners ask for something, of course we listen.” says Roel Paesmans, managing director of Fruitsnacks.
A collaboration between pioneers
Both the team at Fruitsnacks and JustBite consist of ambitious young entrepreneurs striving to create healthy workplaces. Fruitsnacks was named Limburg SME of the Year, and JustBite co-founder Kevin Ringoot won the JCI Award of East Flanders in 2022.
“The connection between Fruitsnacks and JustBite was immediate. We both work on healthy break moments at work. 1+1=3; by combining our strengths, we have a more complete offering while each retaining our focus and expertise without losing speed,” says Aitor Somers, co-founder of JustBite.
Besides the drive of these entrepreneurs and the shared goal, both companies place great importance on sustainable business practices. The importance of a sustainable approach is becoming increasingly important for both individuals and companies. Fruitsnacks and JustBite continuously work on the United Nations’ SDGs. For example, Fruitsnacks grows apples and pears biodynamically and focuses on green energy throughout all stages of production. JustBite consistently chooses plant-based snacks and sustainable snack packaging.
Well-being and health at work remain essential
Fruitsnacks and JustBite will continue to work on making workplaces healthy in a sustainable way in the future. Through their company story, they want to inspire companies to be the best employer for their employees. Companies that invest in employee health not only stand stronger in the war on talent but also create loyal employees. Healthy snacks lead to healthy, motivated, and productive employees.

About JustBite
JustBite strives for a healthier world break after break. Together with a nutritionist, they developed a method to individually screen every snack. This helps companies that lack the knowledge, time, or expertise to do this themselves. Their tasty snacks contain only nutritious and natural ingredients—snacks that are good for you and the planet. JustBite is active in the Benelux, Germany, and the Nordics and has created more than 3.5 million healthier break moments at over 2,000 employers in the past 3 years.
