It’s finally here, after 13 exciting and educational weeks, my internship at JustBite is almost over. Due to COVID-19, finding an internship wasn’t exactly smooth sailing until I came across JustBite. I really liked the concept, and after the first conversation, I immediately decided that I wanted to gain my first work experience at JustBite. Fortunately, there was still a spot available for me within the sales & marketing team, and I soon received the great news that I could start working at JustBite.
On the first day of the internship, Noor and I were warmly welcomed by Kevin and Aitor. We also received a wonderful gift box full of healthy snacks and fun gadgets. I immediately felt welcome and valued as a member of the team. In other words, a great start to an even better period!
During my internship, I learned a great deal and gained many new insights. My tasks mainly involved sales-related activities, as I preferred this area. I got to know all the steps involved in the sales process and was able to carry them out myself. This often involved working with new tools and processes, which could sometimes be challenging. Fortunately, I could always count on excellent guidance.
Besides sales, I also learned a lot about various other things. I attended numerous meetings, helped optimize the website and set up the year-end campaigns, conducted many quality research projects, took courses on digital marketing, and much more. So, it was definitely a varied set of tasks, and I never got bored for a second!
During the first weeks, it was still possible to be physically present at the office until corona put a stop to that. Although this was very unfortunate, we made the best of it, and everything went quite smoothly. Thanks to the daily stand-up meetings, we continued to function as a close-knit team, and communication remained excellent! Kevin and Aitor were always available if I had questions or if anything was unclear. In short, the guidance and follow-up were optimal, which I greatly appreciate! Additionally, our opinions were always taken into account, and we were given a lot of responsibility, which I found to be a big plus.
Finally, I would like to thank Kevin and Aitor for the many educational weeks and fun moments. I have grown as a person, learned a lot, and can look back on a fantastic internship experience. I think you both are truly great guys and wish you all the success in the world. So here’s a big THANK YOU!!!
