My internship period at JustBite was definitely a success. On my first day, I was warmly welcomed by Kevin and Aitor and also received a nice onboarding gift box. In short, I immediately felt at ease and part of the team! It was a great start to a rewarding internship period!
In addition, I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in various areas. I received the necessary explanations for each task to carry out my assignments independently. This allowed me to plan my own schedule, which brought extra responsibility. I just had to ensure clear progress by the next meeting.
My range of tasks was also very extensive and ideal for an intern looking for an all-around experience. It was a combination of general marketing and digital marketing. For example, I was allowed to work with Kevin to set up the Easter campaigns for both Google Ads and Facebook advertising.
Furthermore, I was given full responsibility for all social media channels (organic) and the monthly newsletters (email marketing) that I had to create via Active Host. I also had the chance to use my photo and video editing skills again. Moreover, I was given the opportunity to conduct a full SEO analysis of the website and implement all recommendations.
Kevin also gave me access to online courses that provided me with useful tips and tricks for certain tasks. Finally, I got to work with various marketing tools I had never heard of before.
JustBite also places great importance on collaboration and follow-up. The managers mainly want to get the best out of their employees/interns so they can grow together as a team and organization. These feedback moments/status calls with Kevin & Aitor also greatly contributed to my learning process within the company.
